Impact of the Tohoku Region Pacific Ocean Offshore Earthquake on the Sysmex Group

The earthquake’s impact on the Sysmex Group was limited to damage to some office buildings and facilities in the affected region. Operations have not been impaired, and we will gradually resume activities in the region once support lifelines and traffic networks are confirmed to be back on line.

The Group’s production and R&D bases, which are located primarily in Hyogo Prefecture, were unaffected by the earthquake, and we will persevere in our efforts to ensure a stable supply of products to medical institutions.
