What efforts is Sysmex making to conserve the global environment?

We recognize that environmental protection is one of the responsibilities of a good corporate citizen. In 1999, the reagent factory of our European subsidiary received ISO 14001 certification, followed by the Kakogawa Factory (instrument production base), the Ono Factory (reagent production base), and two other Japanese subsidiaries.
With the ISO 14001 certification of the Technopark - our R&D base - and our Corporate Headquarter in March 2002, six operations, including our subsidiaries, have been certified with this international environmental standard.
In October 2004, we reinforced the Sysmex Environmental Policy, and we are currently implementing and enhancing environmental protection efforts throughout the group.
