We are looking for a Marketing Assistant on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, to provide cover for maternity leave in our Strategic Business Development! Our Strategic Business Development team provide exemplary support to our customers, to ensure they are supported throughout their time with Sysmex. This role is office based in our UK headquarters.
Marketing Assistant – 12 months FTC
Marketing communications
- To support the Marketing Specialist Lead in the successful development and execution of an annual marketing communications plan, including but not limited to:
- The delivery and management of selected company events and trade exhibitions.
- Development and execution of an effective Social Media strategy for SUK
- Ensuring that the copy and content on the SUK website, and related microsites, successfully communicates all aspects of the Sysmex brand positioning to the market and provides an effective resource to support sales and business development activity.
Internal Communications
- To take the lead on developing and delivering effective internal company communication activity
Marketing project delivery
- To take the lead role in successfully delivering all aspects of marketing and business development activity for specific projects.
- To actively contribute to the successful development and implementation of a range of agreed marketing and business development projects.
Collaboration
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across relevant stakeholder groups within both Sysmex UK and the European headquarters
Administration/Personal Training
- Ensure all quality documents are completed according to the required standard.
- Take responsibility for personal training and development
To apply for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications/experience:
- Educated to degree standard in Marketing or Business qualification
- CIM Certificate
- Working knowledge of MS Windows and related MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Full Driving Licence
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience of working experience in a B2B marketing role
- Demonstrable experience of working effectively to support sales / business development teams deliver their performance objectives
- Experience of delivering successful social media campaigns

The working hours for this role are normally 09.00 – 17.00.
We will be holding an assessment day for this role on the 27th July 2022 in Milton Keynes, so you would need to be available on this date to attend this in person.
