We are looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our Sales Department in the East Region! Our Account managers are responsible for managing the customer experience and relationship as though you were managing your own business and be a champion within Sysmex for your customers! This role is field based.

Territory Account Manager – East Region

Your responsibilities

You will drive excellence in Sysmex service delivery at all levels and aim to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. To do this you will develop and command excellent relationships with all areas of the Sysmex UK’s organisation. You will be responsible for the account management of your designated key accounts, which you will have to continually manage to provide our customers with the best experience possible. You will be expected to continually develop your account management skills to improve your ability to retain and grow the business within existing client accounts and acquire new accounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Protect Sysmex Core Business performance in their region through operational excellence in post-sales customer service and support
  • Provide effective contract development and agreement through focussed targets
  • Maintain market awareness and knowledge on Sysmex and Third Parties current and future product range, including the value proposition
  • Upsell product and services within the designated accounts to maximise on profit
  • Working with the Regional Commercial Manager build a successful post sales plan for each account/network
  • Provide effective contract management, ensuring all parties meet their contractual obligation. This is completed through continual analysis, project and communication
  • Be responsible for post sales stakeholder management as designated within your nominated regions/contracts
  • Work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders and regional team members to successfully deliver on agreed post sales plans
  • Contribute effectively to contract development and agreement - pre & post award, focus on KPIs

Regional Business Development

  • Fully aware of Sysmex and Third Parties current and future product range and their value proposition.
  • Responsible for upselling product and services within your nominated contracts/accounts.
  • Understand our third-party approach to Managed Service Contracts.
  • Working with the Regional Commercial Manager build a successful post sales plan for each account/network.
  • Deputise for the Regional Commercial Manager.
Your profile

To apply for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications/experience:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Previous large, Key Account Management or Sales experience in the In Vitro Diagnostic industry
  • Life Science University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in sales in the diagnostic arena
  • General knowledge in MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be able to be self-motivated within their day to day work
  • Hold the ability to analyse complex data Complex data analysis
  • Demonstrably strong negotiation skills

The candidate would be located within the area on the map.

The working hours for this role are normally 09.00 – 17.00.

We will be holding an assessment day for this role on either 25th or 26th July so you would need to be able to attend this in person.
